A footballer has died a painful death on Wednesday after being attacked by hoodlums in Uyo.

A Nigerian footballer planning to continue his career in Denmark has been reportedly killed.
It was gathered that the young midfielder playing for Cofine FC, Cross River State, was killed by some hoodlums in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Emmanuel Amuna was heading home on Wednesday night when he was caught up in the unrest in Uyo and was allegedly hit by stray bullet.
The deceased was getting set for a trial in Denmark before death snatched him away.
