Breaking News: Edo Election: PDP Defeats APC In Ize-Iyamu's Local Govt

The Independent National Electoral Commission announced that the APC polled 10,458 votes while PDP got 13,445 votes in Orhiomwon.

Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the Edo State Governorship Election, was defeated by the Peoples Democratic Party in his local government, Orhiomwon, The PUNCH reports.

The Independent National Electoral Commission announced that the APC polled 10,458 votes while PDP got 13,445 votes in Orhiomwon.

Ize-Iyamu hails fromIguododo in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State.

Earlier, the running mate of the Peoples Democratic Party candidate in the Edo governorship election, Philip Shaibu, lost the election in his Local Government, Etsako west, to APC.

INEC’s result from Etsako West showed that PDP secured 17,959 votes and APC polled 26,140 votes.
