There is a massive outrage on social media by Nigerians, after the snapshot of an ‘Indian Only’ job advert in Abuja, went viral.

Many have decried the high rate of Nigerians abroad, and are now shocked to see the same happening in Nigeria.

On popular social media platforms like Twitter and Reddit, Nigerians have protested the obvious discrimination in their own country, as they went on to call on the Federal Government to look into the issue.

Earlier this year, the Chinese outlet, Haufei Restaurant & Mall, in Lagos state was shut down by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission “FCCPC” for discrimination against Nigerians.

There have been complaints regarding the business model of the Chinese restaurant after a Nigerian complained that his experience while ordering at Haufei Restaurant was unpleasant. According to Nigerians, who shared their experience on Twitter, Nigerians were not allowed to dine in the restaurant; they could only get takeout, but Chinese were allowed.
