Many people have been left in shock as fire destroys Guinness Warehouse in Lagos state.
Guinness on fire in Lagos
A fire outbreak has destroyed properties worth millions of naira at a Guiness warehouse on Wempco Road, Ogba, Ikeja area of Lagos.
According to reports, the fire outbreak started at about 2.30 am when the warehouse stocked with plastic crates, belonging to Guinness Nig Ltd was engulfed in fire.
The remote cause of the fire could not be ascertained at press time but relevant agencies were on the ground for a rescue operation.
The Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu has since confirmed the incident.
