The President shared some photos on his Twitter page today which show him observing the Eid El-Kabir prayers in the villa.
Today is Eid El-Kabir popularly called Sallah and Muslims all around the world are in festive mood. Of course, Muslims in Nigeria are not exempted, including the nation's number one man, President Muhammadu Buhari.
The President shared some photos on his Twitter page today which show him observing the Eid El-Kabir prayers in the villa with other members of his family as well as friends and close aides.
In one of those photos, President Buhari is seen observing keenly as the 'Sallah ram' gets slaughtered for meat. The photo has gotten many Nigerians talking with many jokingly claiming that Mr President is eager to taste some of the meat.
Buhari captioned the photos thus: "I observed the Eid El-Kabir prayers at home with my family, this morning, in keeping with the advisories from the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs. Once again I wish us all a safe and happy Eid. #EidMubarak"
