Serious Confusion Over Alleged Kidnap Of Three People In Abuja

Residents of Pegi community in Kuje Area Council were thrown into confusion over the alleged kidnap of three person while on their way home around 10pm on Wednesday, The Nation reports.

Chairman, Pegi Community Development Association, Taiwo Aderibigbe, who confirmed the development to our correspondent said three vehicles were seen parked along the bushy part of the only lonely road that leads to the community while the occupants were no where to be found and the vehicles opened as at last night.

Aderibigbe said a quick check early on Thursday morning revealed the vehicles were no longer there.

A police helicopter was seen hovering around the community as at when filing this report.

It would be recalled that nine persons were abducted last year in the same community, which led to several protests in Kuje town.
