A woman has been apprehended by the police for stabbing her neighbour with a knife after a quarrel ensued between the two.
Woman Arrested For Stabbing Neighbor Over Minor Misunderstanding In Lagos
Men of the Bariga Police Station in Lagos state have arrested a 32-year-old woman, Joy Asoya, for stabbing her neighbour, Favour Tochukwu, over a minor quarrel.
A statement from Bala Elkana, spokesperson of the state police command said Joy and Favour reside in the same house along Alhaji Alimi street in Bariga. They had a misunderstanding and in the process, Joy allegedly stabbed Favour on her back with a kitchen knife.
The victim was rushed to Lagos island hospital in the company of her husband, where she was admitted.
The suspect was arrested and according to the police, has confessed to committing the offence. The knife was subsequently recovered by detectives.
Bala says Investigation is ongoing and that the suspect will be charged to court at the conclusion of the investigation.
