President Buhari Makes Fresh Appointments

Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari has approved new appointments amid coronavirus pandemic.

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Shehu Mohammed Bello as the new Secretary of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC.
 
Buhari also approved the appointment of Bitrus Chinoko as the Director-General of the Centre for Management Development, CMD, Lagos State.
 
These appointments were announced by the Presidency, through the Special aide on New Media to the President, Bashir Ahmad.
 
He tweeted, “@MBuhari has approved the appointment of Mohammed Bello Shehu as the new Secretary of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and also approved the appointment of Bitrus Chinoko as the DG of the Centre for Management Development (CMD) Lagos.”
 
Bello, born in 1970, holds a Masters Degree in Administration and Planning, PGD in Information Technology and B.A (Ed) from ABU, Zaria.
 
He commenced his career in the Power Sector from NEPA as a Data Processing Officer 1998 and rose through the ranks until he became Data Processing Centre Manager.
 
He moved to NAPTIN in 2011 and converted to Procurement Officer where he grew to become the Head of the Procurement Unit.
 
He is a seasoned IT professional and System Analyst and an associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).
