Police authorities have said bail is free and warned members of the public to report any police officer who asks for bail as it has provided a hotline for it.
According to the Nigerian Police, members of the public are advised to report any police man who asks for bail money. Police authorities says bail is free and have banned its officers from collecting money henceforth.
The NPF has also released contact details of the Complaint Response Unit, CRU where Nigerians can drop their complains if they're ever asked to pay bail. You can also drop other complaints using the contact details.
