Kano State Government Shuts All Borders As Coronavirus Rises To 51 Cases In Nigeria

The Gov of Kano state, Abdullahi Ganduje has ordered the closure of all borders in the state to curb the coronavirus spread.

In a bid to curb the spread of Coronavirus, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, has ordered the closure of all borders and routes linking Kano state to other parts of the country including the Aminu Kano International Airport,.

The directive from the governor to close all borders was made known by Salihu Yakasai, the  Director General of Media and Communications for Kano State Government, who stated that no one would be allowed to enter or leave Kano with effect from 12midnight on Friday March 27.

Nigeria has so far recorded 51 cases of the novel Coronavirus.
