Breaking News: Senate Bans Public Hearings, Excursions To Galleries Over Coronavirus Outbreak

The Nigerian senate has now suspended all public hearings till further notice over the coronavirus.

Rising from a one hour closed door session, the Nigerian Senate have ordered a ban on all public hearings and students excursions to the Senate galleries

Other legislative activities that would attract a sizeable number of people have also been restricted for now.

Senate President, Dr Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan made the announcements on Thursday.
