A Nigerian footballer, Christian Obodo and his mother have escaped death in a horrific car crash.

A former Super Eagles midfielder, Christian Obodo, and his mother have survived a ghastly auto accident.
The footballer and his mum escaped death in the accident which happened in Delta State, on Sunday, January 26, 2020.
The accident occured along the Ozo road, leaving the car badly damaged. It was the second 35-year-old footballer would survive in a week.
Obodo is regarded by many as one of the most skillful and talented midfielders to play for the Super Eagles since the 1994 era.
