Buhari Cautions Against Using His Name To Seek Votes Ahead Of 2023 Election

Buhari has cautioned that those seeking political office should work hard and not use his name to amass votes in 2023 election.

The President, Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, warned against using his name to canvass votes ahead of the 2023 general elections.

He said anyone aspiring to occupy a political office must work hard to achieve his goal, instead of dropping his name.

Buhari spoke at the State House, Abuja when some of his aides presented him a birthday card on his 77th birthday.

He also assured Nigerians that he would guarantee free, fair and credible polls in 2023.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, was also at the event.
