Joseph Ejiro
Joseph Ejiro took to Twitter two days ago to narrate a chilling encounter he allegedly had with policemen in Festac who picked him up for no reason, threatened to kill him and frame him with a crime, then forced him to transfer almost all the money in his account to them (read here).
Joseph shared his ordeal on Twitter and got justice after activists Segun Awosanya and Ruggedman took up his case.
Giving an update to his followers, he tweeted: "The officers involved have been arrested. Thanks to all the wonderful men of the Lagos State Police command. Mr @ElkanaBala was great and i really appreciate him and everyone at the station who made this as easy as possible. I am very grateful.
"Also grateful to Mr @segalink and Mr @RuggedyBaba , grateful for all your effort and i appreciate the work you do for the Nigerian youths. I also appreciate all those who called, texted, tweeted and DMed. To all my friends for their moral support."
He added: "Got my money!!!"
