The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Yahaya Bello appears to won the Kogi State governorship election held in the state last Saturday.
But the Independent Electoral Commission is yet to officially announce the final result of the election.
Bello who is the incumbent Governor of the state won 12 local government councils while his closest rival, Engr. Musa Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, won 9 local government councils.
