Officials of the Nigerian Navy have rescued some Immigration Officers who were kidnapped.

According to a report by Punch Metro, there are indications that four immigration officers, who were abducted by pirates on Monday morning along Bonny waterways in Bonny LGA, Rivers State, have been rescued.
The immigration officers were rescued on Wednesday morning during what was described as a surprise raid by the Navy and the maritime component of the Joint Task Force in Niger Delta codenamed ‘Operation Delta Safe’.
