Following the impeachment of Simon Achuba, Kogi State will witness the swearing-in of a new deputy governor in the coming days.
The running mate to Governor Yahaya Bello in the November 16 governorship election, Chief Edward Onoja, is to be sworn-in on Monday, as the new deputy governor of Kogi State.
Onoja, until recently served as the Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Governor.
He later emerged as the running mate to Bello, who is seeking a second term in office, on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
