The governor of Lagos state, Sanwo-Olu had paid an unannounced visit to the general hospital in Marina.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Monday paid an unscheduled visit to the General Hospital, Marina.
Sanwo-Olu via his official Twitter handle said that he had paid the visit to get a firsthand experience of the workings of the hospital and its facilities.
He said, “The health sector is without a doubt very important to us. I went on ward rounds to assess the quality of service in various departments.”
During the visit, Sanwo-Olu also paid some of the medical bills of patients in the emergency care unit.
