Some pensioners have stormed the Benue state government house to protest non-payment of their allowances and gratuities.

Pensioners in Benue State, on Wednesday, shut down Government House, Makurdi over non-payment of their pension allowances and gratuities.
 
According to Punch, the retirees staging the protest lamented that the state government was owing them entitlements and gratuity which spanned 25 months.
