The super inspiring story of a girl born with a rare ailment that made her weigh as little as a toddler even though she is 12-years-old.

A 12-year-old girl has defied doctors prediction that she would live only for a few days after birth. Kenadie Jourdin-Bromley has primordial dwarfism, a rare development condition that affects just 100 people worldwide. It means her body is in normal proportion but is extremely small. Today she stands at just 3ft 3.5in tall and weighs 23.5lbs, the same as a two-year-old.

The bubbly schoolgirl has defied medics since the day she was born weighing just 2.5lbs and measuring 11 inches from head to toe.
Despite learning difficulties and fragile, thin bones, Kenadie is thriving and goes to a mainstream school where classmates are two feet taller. Her younger brother Tyran, ten, also towers over her.

Kenadie wears infant size 7 shoes and clothes made for toddlers. She also enjoys swimming and ice hockey and has a busy social life with friends.
However, Kenadie also faces serious medical threats, including fragile bones and the risk of scoliosis or an aneurysm, and mum Brianne fears she will not see her become an adult.

Brianne said: “Having Kenadie definitely tested my faith many times and watching her struggle isn’t easy. Most parents don’t have to imagine their kid not living past whatever age but it’s a reality for us that we will probably lose her. My hope for the future for Kenadie is just that she is happy and that she finds things that make her happy and make her smile.”
Kenadie is living a life of promise as she is enjoying herself and living beyond the expectations of all. She is an inspiration that no matter what, one's will can conquer against all odds if you believe.
