Three students, Ekeh, Ogechi Joedicta; Adeyeye, Oluwaseyi Adeniyi and Ogbechi, Daniel Chinaedum have emerged best graduating students for the 2017/2018 convocation ceremony of University of Lagos (UNILAG).
The trio from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Insurance and Department of Business Administration respectively emerged best with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.96 each.
The students were honoured by the University with a plaque while they also got a cheque of N100,000 each and another plaque from the Alumni Association of the University at the convocation ceremony where a total of 3,643 students graduated from the Faculties of Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Dental Sciences, Engineering, Law, Management Sciences, Pharmacy and Distance Learning Institute.
Revealing the secret of his success, 22 year-old Adeyeye said he was determined right from his first day in Unilag to leave an imprint of his name before leaving the University.
That he said was his motivation. He told Daily Trust that he was able to achieve the feat because he quickly discovered himself, his strength and what works for him.
