A man has landed in serious trouble after allegedly stealing his friend’s ATM card and taking about N660,000 from his bank account.
The suspect identified as Emmanuel Johnson, was said to have visited his friend named Ibrahim at his house in Delta state, where he allegedly stole the ATM card without the victim/friend’s knowledge.
It was gathered that Ibrahim was shocked to receive a debit alert of N660,000 – few hours after his supposed friend left his house.
He rushed to the bank to freeze the account and block the ATM card before reporting the issue to the police.
The police swung into action and discovered that Emmanuel, his friend was behind the shady withdrawal.
It was learnt that the suspect had uploaded pictures of himself grooving on Facebook and also flaunted wads of cash online.
The suspect was nabbed on Friday, January 1st (yesterday) over the crime which he committed on 18th of January, 2019.
He will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
