Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has been pictured as he stepped out for a public appearance with his new wife, Prophet Naomi Oluwaseyi, for the first time since their marriage which made major headlines few weeks ago.

The influential Yoruba monarch and the Olori of Ife, were spotted at an event together in Lagos as they made their first appearance at the West Africa’s 1st International Art Fair which took place at Civic Center, Victoria Island.

Sharing pictures of the event on Instagram was @artxlagos. In the picture, Ooni of Ife and Olori Naomi Oluwaseyi were seen standing with the CEO of Access Bank, Herbert Wigwe, the Lagos state governorship aspirant, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and others.

One of the photo was captioned: "Our distinguished guest of honor, His Excellency, Ooni of Ife (@ooniadimulaife) declares #ARTXLagos2018 open.

"The third edition of ART X Lagos has now begun! We’ll be here at The Civic Centre until the 4th November. Click the link in bio for tickets."

Another picture was captioned: "#ARTXMoments From L-R: Atedo Peterside, Tokini Peterside, The Ooni of Ife, the Olori of Ife, Herbert Wigwe CEO of Access Bank, and Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in front of Enwonwu’s iconic painting, ‘Tutu’ 1974, made available by our Gold Sponsor Access Bank (@myaccessbank).

"The public display of ‘Tutu’ at #ARTXLagos2018 marks a hugely significant moment in Nigeria’s art history, as the painting makes its first public display in Nigeria since 1975, when it was last shown in Lagos. With the Ooni of Ife as the fair’s guest of honour, connecting with the rediscovered artwork of his kinsman, the public display of Tutu carried even greater cultural and historical significance. This moment will certainly remain a landmark moment in Nigerian history, and art history worldwide.

"Tutu is at the fair for one more day only. Come by The Civic Centre, Victoria Island, to view this historical painting. Tickets for today are no longer available online but limited tickets will be available at the fair. #ARTXLagos #DestinationLagos."
