Tragedy struck the campus of the University of Lagos yesterday, when a student was electrocuted to death.

A female University of Lagos student was electrocuted on Tuesday, September 8, when a high tension cable fell on her in front of the Sodeinde Hall of residence in the campus.

Reports revealed that the young lady was immediately rushed to the Lagos state Teaching Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The school authority is yet to issue an official statement on the unfortunate incident.
