See the Alleged 'Hand of God' Image Which Appeared in the Sky (Photo+Video)

A really unusual shape which appeared in the sky has gotten people asking some questions after they spotted it.

A video which is making the waves on the internet has shown a shape that perfectly resembles a hand which appeared in the sky. The 'hand' is now being hailed as proof that Heaven exists on social media.

Daily Star UK reports that the image was snapped earlier this month in the US state of Arizona and uploaded to YouTube.

It shows a shadowy shape in the sunset that resembles an outstretched hand. And YouTube users were quick to jump on it as proof that our creator really does exist.

One person commented: “It’s a miracle”.

And another wrote: "I love the hand of God photo. Those of us who believe do not need a reminder but in these crazy days it is nice to see he shows us his love."

But not everyone was convinced. A number of netizens were quick to point out the photos could have been digitally altered.

Sceptic Scott Brando, who runs myth and hoax-busting website ufoofinterest.org, commented: "I think it's an effect like crepuscular rays, but for a confirmation, I'd need the original image by the author.

"If the image is real, the hand is a pareidolia effect, but, in my opinion, without the original picture, I think it is a fake."

The pareidolia effect refers to the phenomenon of people seeing faces in inanimate objects.
