President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a revised list of 46 non-career ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for legislative approval. This was revealed on Thursday by the Senate President as he read Buhari’s letter to the lawmakers during plenary on Thursday.
The first version of the list was rejected by the Senate due to over 250 petitions against the nominees, two of whom rejected their nomination.
The new list contains names of several individuals not listed in the old list. The President had to do a revamp of the old list rejected by the Senate.
