The family of a top Special Anti-Robbery Squad officer has been thrown into a state of wailing after he was gunned down by unknown armed men in Ekiti state.

 

The officer identified as Idowu Taiwo was abducted before he was assassinated by the unknown gunmen who dropped his corpse in his vehicle. The sad news was shared by Abiodun Borishade on Facebook.

 

"RIP, Sad day, really sad news. My neighbour in Ekiti SAR topman was killed overnight." he wrote.
