Law Student Strangles Female Teacher to Death Then Proceeds to Have S*x with Her Dead Body (Photo)

A student of law who is obsessed with violent fantasies has carried out a most heinous crime after meeting with a female teacher.

Katie Locke and Carl Langdell

Carl Langdell, a law student who is also a violent fantasist beat up and strangled a 23-year-old teacher he met online before having s*x with her dead body, a court heard.

Although, the incident occurred on Chritmas Eve last year, Langdell, 26, has just admitted murdering Katie Locke at Theobolds Park Hotel in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire, England.

According to Daily Mail, St Albans Crown Court heard he later confessed his crime to his mother, telling her: 'I am a monster'. It also emerged he had taken photographs of Miss Locke's body after she died.

Just nine months before he murdered Miss Locke, Langdell told a Community Psychiatric Nurse that he wanted to cut a girl's throat, see her naked and have sex with her when she was dead.

After his arrest, Langdell described himself to a psychiatrist as a 'monster.'

Langdell, of Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, pleaded guilty to murder at an earlier hearing and appeared at St Albans crown court today. Judge Andrew Bright QC said he will sentence him tomorrow.

Langdell met Miss Locke, who taught history and politics at Cardinal Pole School in Hackney, east London, on Plenty of Fish two weeks before her death.

They arranged to meet for their first date on the night of December 23, with Miss Locke believing Langdell was a lawyer with his own firm.

Prosecutor Ann Evans told the court: 'The tragedy of this case is that Katie Locke, like thousands of other young people, having agreed to a date with Carl Langdell accepted what he told her about himself.'

She said: 'Katie told a friend that Carl told her he was a lawyer who owned his own firm. Carl Langdell is not a lawyer, nor does he have his own firm, this was a lie.

'The truth was that over the previous two years he had increasingly suffered from mental illness, which had been marked by periods in psychiatric hospitals.'
