A man got the shock of his life after he got his head stuck up a washing machine while trying to inspect the device before doing laundry.
The man had to be rescued by fire fighters after he managed to get his head stuck in a washing machine.
The man had been preparing to do his laundry when he turned on the power and noticed it wasn’t working.
When he knelt down to inspect the washing machine’s roller, he managed to get his head stuck in it and couldn’t get it out again.
His flatmates tried to pull him out using soap but failed to do so and had to resort to calling the police on Sunday.
The man later explained: ‘I managed to very successfully stick my head into the machine, so I don’t understand why I got stuck.’
In the end, a team of six fireman arrived to rescue the man by sawing through the plastic roller and eventually pulling it apart 40 minutes later.
The man, who was reportedly covered to stop him getting burned from sparks, only suffered minor cuts to his head.
