How Aisha Buhari, Garba Shehu and Others Bought Dollars From CBN And Resold for Profit - PDP

 

The Peoples Democratic Party has leveled allegations of cheating, fraud and stealing on president Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha Buhari, Shehu Garba and many others as it accused them of using the Central Bank to make profits. In a number of tweets using the official twitter handle @PdpNigeriaOfficial, the party alleged that "In 7 months, president Buhari has withdrawn $23m forex from CBN for foreign travel expenses and estacode."

 

It also said that "First Lady Aisha Buhari got $22m forex from CBN on the instructions of Emefiele and the company sold at N362 same day. " and accused Garba Shehu that he "got $800,000 forex at N185 from CBN on the instructions of Emefiele, CBN governor and sold at N350 on the same day."

 

he allegations are not just hefty but something worrisome.
