The intrigues playing out over the arms deal scandal involving the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki has gotten even more interesting as the EFCC arrests AIT chairman, Raymond Dokpesi.

The Chairman of Africa Independent Television, (AIT), Raymond Dokpesi has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) today over the spreading arms purchase scandal involving the office of the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, and the theft of N2.1billion from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

According to Sahara Reporters, Dokpesi was arrested shortly after noon, and whisked to the EFCC office, where he is now being interrogated.

EFCC sources revealed that on the instructions of the Dasuki, CBN paid N2.1billion to the AIT chairman.
